Hello and welcome, my name is Ciara Lyons, and I am a Psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals find balance, clarity, and fulfillment in their lives. With a deep passion for mental health and well-being, I bring a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Therapy is a collaborative journey and in my practice, I work closely with my clients to create a safe and non-judgmental space where they can explore their emotions, challenges, and aspirations. As an integrative psychotherapist, I work from a person centred approach and incorporate various therapeutic methods and evidence-based practices. These include psychodynamic, gestalt, psychosynthesis, mindfulness, body psychotherapy and trauma informed methods. This flexible and adaptive approach, allows me to tailor my practice so that my clients feel fully supported to address their individual’s unique needs and goals.
I became a psychotherapist because I am passionate about the transformative power of psychothearpy and counselling. I am continually inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and am dedicated to helping my clients understand themselves better and improve their emotional well-being.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent 15 years working in the corporate sector. This experience gives me a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges that can arise in this environment. My background allows me to empathise with and address work-related stressors and dynamics, to support your well-being.
I am Garda vetted, fully insured and committed to ensuring I am upskilling in the various fields of psychotherapy in line with new research. In addition, I attend regular external supervision.
